The aim was to create a Symbian operating system for mobile terminals that could compete with the Palm or Windows Mobile from Microsoft.
Most of the phones are Symbian Nokia: 3650, 3660, 6120, 6260, 6600, 6620.6630, 6680, 6681, 7650, 7610, 6670, 9300, 9500, 5700, N-Gage, E50, E60, E61 , E65, E70, N70, N73, N80, N95 ... In other words, all models in the series 60 and higher, including all N-series and the so-called Communicator ... Very few models from other mobile manufacturers: Sony Ericsson P800, P802, P900, P910, P990, W950 and M600i, Siemens SX1, Motorola A1000, A1010, A920, A925, A728 (only available in China); every cell FOM (only available in Japan) and Samsung with two models: the SGH-D720 and SGH-D730 and two Panasonic (X700, X800). Symbian provides four types of devices for its operating system, called Serie60, Serie80, Serie90 and UIQ. Most are Serie60 Nokia, Sony Ericsson all work under UIQ, as well as Motorola.
