In a nutshell: A dual-screen touch-sensitive user interface combined with a full numeric keypad makes the LG Venus cool but practical too. Available in a choice of black, red, pastel pink or shiny pink, the Venus is a beautiful slide design phone that will definitely turn heads. It's fully equipped with a 3 megapixel camera, video camera, MP3 player, FM radio, Bluetooth and up to 8 Gbytes of memory.
Best buy: *Free* with half-price line rental from Dialaphone; or on Pay as you Go from the Carphone Warehouse for £179.95.
With the European launch of the LG KF600 (LG Venus) on 11 February 2008, LG have proven themselves once again to be at the forefront of innovation in user interface design. At first glance the KF600 looks just like any other slide phone - the top half has a high quality TFT screen, with touch-sensitive navigation buttons below, and when you slide it open, the full numeric keypad is revealed beneath. But what's really interesting is that the touch-sensitive navigation keys are context sensitive virtual keys. In other words, the function of the keys changes depending on what you're trying to do with the phone. LG call this an InteractPad™.
