Palm Treo 680

The 680 looks a lot tighter than its predecessor the 650. Various user interfaces have improved.

Agenda: agenda is simple and effective. It does what it's supposed to do. Synch with Outlook is possible and also with other packages such as Lotus Notes (with extra software).
Telephone: completely summit. Good sound quality and the directory is complete. You can rest on anything. With some freeware you can set MP3 ringtones, which works well.
Synchronization with HotSync, which is a good program. Provides never conflicts.
MP3 player is pTunes3, what a great program. You can evt. upgrade to v4, which is even better. Sound of this player is absolutely perfect.
For headset jack you need a converter of 2.5 to 3.5 mm jack necessary (strange). Even use a Bluetooth headset.
Currently I have a 4GB SD card in with MP3's and TomTom 6 Europe icm a Bluetooth GPS receiver from Palm. Runs just fine.

Battery ... , well ... anything less, but I use 'm therefore intense. If you do not often agree to play, then he may well stay on 4 to 5 days. Use your one-BT headset, you check your mail, you surf the Web, etc then you can 'm at the end of the day the best weather charging. But I think that is quite standard for such intensive use.

The Palm OS is now starting to be a bit outdated and there are several smaller software companies that are the brui indicate. But this does not let you back! There is a mass of freeware available and you can evt. own programs.
