Motorola loses more and more market share when compared to other mobile handset manufacturers. Motorola currently has a market share of only 13 per cent while market leader Nokia has a market share of 37 percent. Even Samsung is doing better with 13.7 percent.
The reason is the lack release of new models and too little delivery of good, decent phones. Motorola also is not for the rest if you look at the technique used. Motorola also makes it not so good in the Middle East, Asia and Africa, because Motorola does not inspringt on the 'emerging markets'. What does that mean they do not go along with the trends in that area.
However, Sony Ericsson always better to the market. One reason is the popular Walkman line, since one third of the total mobile phone sales from this line was derived.
